Many of you may have already read my story about Bo, and the stranger’s mystery gift that got her back on her feet again. If you missed it, you can read it here.
Since publishing Bo’s story, I have been overwhelmed with emails from moms and dads of dogs with hip dysplasia and hip pain, asking if that’s what Bo has.
YES, Bo was born with hip dysplasia which led to some—though not all—of her arthritic joints and immobility.
WHAT IS HIP DYSPLASIA?
In Hip Dysplasia, the hip bone doesn’t fit like it should in the hip socket. This causes the bones to slide incorrectly, which loosens ligaments, causes misalignments, and creates painful bone spurs and arthritis. OUCH.
Bo also had stiffness in her front legs as well, so the cards were stacked against her before the stranger stopped by with the “miracle.”
While hip dysplasia isn’t really curable, the pain is definitely treatable with the right combination of powerful, pain-relieving nutrients.
I now have a better understanding of the powerhouse formula that was inside the little mystery bottle that turned Bo’s life around, and I feel like you need to know about it too, so be patient while I get a little bit scientific:
Glucosamine HCI - We’ve all heard about Glucosamine, and how it helps replenish cartilage. Well this special “HCI” formulation is faster absorbing or something like that. There are many glucosamine products out there, but this is the good stuff…
MSM - (Methylsulfonylmethane) This weird-sounding anti-inflammatory is found in fruits and vegetables. Vet scientists in their white lab coats tested MSM alongside Glucosamine, and discovered that the combo works synergistically to mass produce collagen, immunogoblins, and other science-y words that heal joints.
Ascorbic Acid - (Vitamin C) Yep, who knew this “common” vitamin was so crucial for collagen production? Those same lab coats have also produced documentation proving the importance of this crucial vitamin for your pup’s joints.
Chicken Collagen - This magical stuff lubricates and protects Fifi and Fido’s connective tissues that support hips and joints. Plus it’s num-nums for their tum-tums.
Hopefully you can better understand what happens when these ingredients team up: They rev up your dog’s body to produce collagen, lubrication, immuno-whatevers, pain-reducing micro-things, and essentially get your dog doing backflips again.
The results? JUST LOOK AT THAT HAPPY, HEALHTY PUPPY:
